2. Description of Service

VidGen is an AI-powered video generation platform that allows users to create videos from text prompts using artificial intelligence. Videos are stored temporarily and may be deleted after 5 days unless you choose to keep them.

3. User Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use VidGen. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VidGen to:

Create content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or harassing
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Generate content that depicts real people in a false or defamatory manner
Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the platform's security
Use the Service for spam or automated abuse

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of videos you generate. By using the Service, you grant VidGen a limited licence to store, process, and deliver your generated content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All videos are generated by artificial intelligence. VidGen does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing content before publishing or distributing it.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

8. Video Storage & Retention

Generated videos are stored for 5 days by default. You may opt to keep a video indefinitely via the "Keep forever" option. Videos not kept will be permanently deleted after the 5-day period.

9. Limitation of Liability

VidGen is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
